Posted on 03/11/17 Advantage Creative partners with Wavemaker for #Maker Bootcamp Project

Advantage Creative has partnered with Wavemaker, a community maker space in Stoke on Trent, to run the Maker Boot Camp project in 2018.

Maker Boot Camp aims to inspire 30 young people aged 16-30 from disadvantaged and NEET (not in education, employment or training) backgrounds to turn their interest and talent for making into a start-up business.

Thanks to this funding from the Nat West Skills & Opportunities Fund, this project will provide tutoring in practical making skills, as well as entrepreneurial skills.

Advantage Creative will coordinate a team of creative Mentors to inspire and guide young creatives, and a team of expert business Coaches to support them as they start-up their own businesses.

We would like to thank all our supporters for voting for this project, and we look forward to working with Wavemaker, who share our passion for inspiring and supporting young people to create new, exciting start-up enterprises.
