Non-Executive Chairman Terry Lipscombe

Terry was a partner with Manby and Steward, solicitors in Wolverhampton and Shropshire, for twenty years where he focused on business law. In 1996 Terry became a partner in Putsmans Solicitors which merged to become Shakespeare Putsman based in Birmingham. Terry had responsibility for business law and practice development as well as being the practice Chairman from 2000 until his retirement in 2008. Since retirement Terry has been a business consultant to a small number of private companies.

In addition to his expertise in business law, Terry brings considerable skills and experience in good governance to Advantage Creative in his capacity as non-Executive Chairman.

From 2002, he was Chairman of the Corporation of Matthew Boulton College, prior to its merger with Sutton Coldfield College to become Birmingham Metropolitan College in 2009, from when he was the Vice Chairman of the new Corporation until his retirement in 2010.

Terry is a trustee of Birmingham Eye Foundation and trustee and honorary secretary of Wrekin Decorative Fine Arts Society. Other trusteeships include the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust Ltd and Ironbridge (Telford) Heritage Foundation Ltd.
